IBB HOTELS

The IBB Hotels group operates eight hotels in Spain (3-star tourist hotels), Poland and Germany (4-star business and conference hotels in both).

The chain was founded in 1992 with twenty summer vacation apartments on Minorca, that are still owned by the group. The first hotel in Poland, Grand Hotel Lublinianka – one of the most beautiful historic hotels in the city of Lublin, was opened in 2002. In 2006 the group bought the former Sorat hotel in Erfurt, starting its expansion in Germany. In July 2008 IBB Hotels acquired the former Holiday Inn in Passau, and starting October 2009, is going to operate a 5-star Grandhotel Römerbad in Badenweiler. The group plans to expand both in Germany and other European countries. IBB Hotels headquarters are located in Palma de Mallorca on Mallorca, Spain. The majority shareholder in Von der Heyden investment group. Sharholdres Javier Errejon – Chief Financial Director and Angel Llull – CEO became members of the board in 2008.
